作者简介
Richard Dawkins taught zoology at the University of California at Berkeley and at Oxford University and is now the Charles Simonyi Professor of the Public Understanding of Science at Oxford, a position he has held since 1995. Among his previous books are The Ancestor's Tale, The Selfish Gene, The Blind Watchmaker, Climbing Mount Improbable, Unweaving the Rainbow, and A Devil's Chaplain. Dawkins lives in Oxford with his wife, the actress and artist Lalla Ward.

评分恩~，我虽然没有通读此书，但读过有关片段章节的中文翻译（由柯南翻译的）。我对于作者在无神论上、以及在对待宗教的态度上都非常认同。这也是我喜欢看《Dr.House》的原因，据说那个角色在对待无神论以及宗教的态度上，就参考了理查德·道金斯的理念和观点。

Richard Dawkins is a brave man whose desire is to share with the world his passionate love for rationality---the most noble and divine trait of humanity. if we can all read, understand and contemplate the information and insight he provided in this book, then humankind can receive the real salvation of its mind.

评分仍然很受启发。其中提到，双盲实验能否证明受到祈祷的人们康复得更好，当然不能，两组数据几乎一样。但是还有第三组实验对象，他们知道自己受到了祈祷，结果我想当然是“安慰剂效应”，结果居然不是！他们的康复状况最差，然后我明白了“performance anxiety”
