The Khmer civilization centred on Angkor was one of the most remarkable to flourish in Southeast Asia. Between the 8th and the 13th centuries, a succession of Hindu and Buddhist kings created magnificent temples in stone. Their elaborate carvings and intricate architecture amazed the first Europeans who visited in the 19th century and continue to fascinate today, when after many years of political turmoil, Angkor is once again accessible. The renowned French scholar Claude Jacques has studied Angkor and its history for the past 30 years, while Michael Freeman has made many photographic trips there during a 15-year period; Ancient Angkor embodies the fruits of their collaboration and includes the results of new research and discoveries made during recent excavations. 晕,我是8刀买的,还买了两本. 不过还是很值,图片和排版真的很赞. 很不推荐LP的,字又小,地图又标的很不清楚,而且每个景点的经典之处也介绍的语焉不详,当然还有很多BUG也不细说了.当然,如果你出游只为找些便宜的GUEST HOUSE和饭店,那么LP的介绍还算多.
评分几乎每个景点都有小孩子在叫卖。开价$12，还到$4成交。 书是铜版纸印刷，印刷的时间比较早了，是2个常年泡在暹粒的摄影师所著。做为资料书非常合适。看了这书才发现，原来我们现在看到的吴哥的景点都是经过大规模的修整后了，与早先的区别很大。 原来那种树藤缠绕杂草丛生的...
