哈代大神的文笔自是没得说，不过我是一看到大段大段的环境描写和暗示就头疼，亏我还想得出学期论文要做关于环境描写在文中作用的分析。女主的经历告诉我们人不要太作，随遇而安未尝不可，为理想冲锋陷阵，血流成河的人，会有人为他们唱一曲挽歌。可我们都是自然的子孙，想过一个自己自由无忧的人生，就必须付出代价。同时，我想自然也会给予我们付出的利息。

旅行中看完。之前一直不喜欢外国小说里长篇的景色描写。但哈代的描写太优美了。

哈代一如既往的性格+命运=杯具。巧合颇多常令人诟病，但其实也是悲剧的老传统。对照了张谷若译本，老前辈译笔极好，读此译本甚至可以学中文。听了Alan Rickman 1985有声书。老戏骨的朗读极其精彩，Christian, Damon, Diggory掷骰子一节，superb storytelling. 唱小曲儿的调子都差不多哈哈，Le point du jour和The rich we'll gobble up 1989一个风格。7碟6，9碟2，可以反复听。胡乱联想：HP系列中，Cedric Diggory和Grimmauld Place (grim old place)这两个名字是不是致敬还乡？文中将荒原称为grim old place.
