确实很心痛. (1) 医疗改革之类的都是越改越差啊, 主要的限制好像还是钱. (2) 这本书就像其他医生自传里描述的, 医疗人员也痛恨NHS bureacracy. 病人痛恨NHS效率低下, 政府就靠增加医生的工作时间之类的来对应, 但是医生得不到休息也容易出错. (3) 大多数人缺乏医学常识, 可能不止是医学常识所以也不能有逻辑地思考问题, 就会怪医生这个那个, 造成医患关系紧张. 然后政府又只会一昧地讨好stupid and daft masses, 于是医生这个职业的位置更险恶了 (4) 很多病人生活习惯也不良, 吸烟酗酒吸毒执着于sex, 如果大家都好好生活可能医生的负担也小很多?

一开始还有点不适应节奏读不进去，但读到三分之一的时候就觉得比较有趣了，作者蛮幽默的

一般人以为医生须得有颗既柔软又抗压的强大心脏，其实，医学院才不管这个，他们连考生晕不晕血都不查，和选美比赛一样，考官看重的是课外的才艺，随便查著名医生的维基百科，上面都注明此人是运动员/演奏家/作家中最会看病的。至于医术，看过一头????，吃过一次????，就能带徒弟了。右手拿刀左手翻书的心虚可不能让患者察觉，医生得学会表演绝对自信，所以，别和大夫玩扑克。

不太适合一口气阅读。比较适合零散时间看一点慢慢看完。很有意思的医生职业小故事！好像认识了一个很诙谐的犹太小医生，吐槽他所经历的日常。
