This is another writing prescription and the first (cardinal) rule is, quoting Orwell, "break any of these rules sooner than say anything outright barbarous." Scattered with witty, sarcastic remarks, McCloskey accomplished writing another EoS. Those prescriptions are to be learnt first. Aha, I broke three rules! Last, read G. Pullum's words on EoS.
评分和Orwell的Politics and the English Language還有The Economist Style Guide是一個路數的，看的時候應該看清楚這些寫作建議是在什麽條件下用的。;-)
评分誰能知道寫作還有這麼多小九九。不過我也不知道現在寫論文越來越自由（或者說不規範），真不知道這套還適用不。這書還寫的挺好的，嘴炮狂魔一樣
