Finished in a few days. It shocks me and makes me feel sorry. Sorry is too simple to describe my feelings. I saw these people.They live in the shadow, in the nightmare, in the deep, deep despair. Through their memories, their lifetime. And , through the long time of history——Ours.

A book is rendered best when it comes at the right moment. This is true to this book. It's stating that freedom is the passive side of life while responsibility the positive side did drag me out of the muddy puddle and set me back to the clockwise rail again. Really enlightening.

作者Viktor年少時就展現瞭對精神病學、心理學的濃厚興趣。作為一個猶太人，他為瞭年邁的父母而選擇放棄美國簽證，留在即將被納粹傾軋的祖國。他和傢人全部被抓進瞭集中營，絕望的日子遙遙無期。身體本就不強壯的他如何堅持到解放，如何在解放後得知親人全部慘死的情況下，繼續存活下去？你我作為讀者，都會早晚經曆到苦難，Vicktor就用他的徹悟在挽救我們。這也是該書如此受追捧的原因。中國的現代人正處於“空心人”狀態，這一後果嚴重到會讓人放棄生命。如果你想尋找答案，就打開這本書吧。全書不過160頁，薄薄的一本，通讀全書你都不會感到作者在教導你，不會的，因為他把自己放得很低，他在謙卑的引領你尋找你的人生意義。我隻用瞭3、4個小時就讀完瞭這本書，但並不錶示它內容淺薄，它讓我在之後的日子裏一直迴想其真理。
