罗斯把nous按其不同的功能分别译作reason和intuitive reason，这种译法我总觉得不太好，努斯是一个概念。“直观的理性”这种理解也不是最妥帖。伦理德性或道德德性被罗斯译为virtue of character和moral virtue，这种区分我不懂是为什么。按伽达默尔说的，亚里斯多德确实很善于描述现象，但我怎么觉得那是建立在没有对那些看似繁多的现象进行规整的基础上的，就如同LU6中胡塞尔讨论的核心问题，并非如亚里斯多德认为的那样，人有多少种表达方式就相应地有多少种体验方式。
评分英文不行的我一上来看这种真的很吃力，沉没在每个字句的意思中而对整体脉络丝毫没有感觉，复习的时候乖乖去读中文了……大量复杂的从句导致我必须用笔划分句子结构才能读下去（因此好像对读其他论文和日常英语的能力没有多大提高，因为写法实在不太一样），另外virtue、reason这种词既是概念术语又在论证中作为日常逻辑用语使用，不知道是只能翻译成这样还是有改进的可能……
评分粗略过了一遍，标志着这个学期三分之一最闲暇时间的过去。通过重复总结和概括尽力让读者看懂，然而句子实在太复杂，我陷落在that和its丛林中。
评分更新：翻译和注释真的比不上Irwin。亚里士多德部分结束一周半以后，我终于看完了这本书…下回读第一遍的时候再也不能做详尽的笔记了，现在才写了前六卷，已经28页word了，有如抄书，然而我连大概的思路也没法复述。第一遍最重要的可能还是把书读薄。文本后面附的Lesley的explanatory notes不如说是commentary：一半的内容是用日常英语重写关键论证，一半的内容是对亚里士多德反直观的观点进行批评或辩护。前一半对于初学者读不懂时有帮助，但也有点过于啰嗦和累赘。后一半的批评和辩护总感觉不得要领，批评通常都是从日常经验出发，这一点做得太过了，辩护也常常没法回到亚里士多德自己的形而上学框架中，显得自说自话，只有零碎的一个个论证，而没有整体性。好吧，我承认是我自己这样读下来没读懂。
