找到瞭納博科夫頗為贊許的頭韻……寫作技法上的確很棒……不讀原著永遠不知道自己英語有多差……最後Jekyll的自白完全懵瞭，那麼多美麗的單詞不認得……

1886，也許是最早展現人性的二重性的藍本，文法真好啊。被壓製後釋放的令人戰栗的歡愉，終將化為危險的迴報。I see you not so deep in my soul, Mr HIDE.

和弗蘭肯斯坦異麯同工：好奇的科學天纔親手設計齣自己的噩夢。大概所有人內心都有Dr Jekyll和Mr Hyde的博弈和製衡。Dr Lanyon在卡文迪許（！）廣場得知真相後驚嚇而死，我仿佛看到大群笑而不語。I have been made to learn that the doom and burthen of our life is bound for ever on man's shoulders, and when the attempt is made to cast it off, it but returns upon us with more unfamiliar and more awful pressure. 欲望越是壓抑會越強，一旦釋放同樣會更強甚至反噬理性；製欲吧。

沒有什麼比自毀的天性更迷人

一百多年前的作品，閱讀難度挺大的，語言風格較為繁復，很繞。有年代的經典文學作品果然是英文水平的試金石啊，哎，路漫漫其修遠兮，繼續修煉吧。
