I’m so sorry for my impatience. It’s a great work, I find such sympathy in so many characters. What a life, filled with struggle between passion and duty, renunciation and acceptance. What a life, wasted yet enlightened, by unnamed hatred and perplexing self-denial. In this cold night I weep for the river Floss, in where they will never be divided.
