虽然概念比较难懂，但如果能找到切入点很容易明白。建议看 www.googlechinablog.com 的数学之美系列文章。
评分 评分Cover先生是牛人，IEEE的Fellow。 这本书网上也有英文的电子版。可以试一试直接看英文版。也是不错的。 讲的最后两章指明了现在和将来信息论可能的研究方向。

感觉这本书和周炯槃老先生的信息理论基础比差远了。这本书看着就是很吃力（我看的机械工业出版社的翻译版），介绍每个概念和定理的时候并没有和物理实际相结合，所以理解起来不够直观。不过本书每章的历史回顾挺好的。

评分讲得很屌，就是太简约
评分话题多样，数学推理简单。作为入门书很有趣。
评分写得真好！信息论用到的数学是如此简单，但是结论又这么优雅，Shannon 真的厉害。
