感覺Breuer的治愈跟小說演繹齣來的尼采哲學沒有太大的關係，從這一點上來說小說邏輯是有硬傷的（相比之下《叔本華的治療》思路就清晰很多）。Breuer的中年危機能夠解決，與其說裏麵有什麼瞭不得的超人哲學或者精神分析洞察，不如說就是因為Breuer是個“好人”：能夠有足夠的同理心，能夠理解妻子和自己一樣是時間的犯人，與其怪在她頭上，不如珍惜相互之間的陪伴，僅此而已。
