作者简介
Charlotte Bronte (1816-55), sister of Anne Bronte and Emily Bronte. Jane Eyre appeared in 1847 and was followed by Shirley (1848) and Vilette (1853). In 1854 Charlotte Bronte married her father's curate, Arthur Bell Nicholls. She died during her pregnancy on March 31, 1855 in Haworth, Yorkshire. The Professor was posthumously published in 1857.

越读到后面和书中的距离也越发遥远，罗切斯特先生等待的简爱也许永远不会来，上帝也并不会最终奖励真诚的人。到最后也只是变成安妮霍尔里的辛格，坐在演练室里，看着笔下的情侣亲吻拥抱说着动听的情话.当然了，jane eyre本来也不是一个爱情故事，最打动我的始终还是她和helen burns的那一段在lowoods的那一段.做为一个人，除去宗教之外，我们还可以有一条自己虔诚的自由之路。

评分关于Wide Sargasso Sea的期末论文和下学期的The Bronte and Psychological Novel都要用这本书。这学期一个老师几乎所有文本都是oxford classics，字小的眼睛都快瞎了。。。下学期的一水儿Penguin，猛地一看这么大的字真的好惊喜啊！
