整體非常流暢，電影對小說細節進行瞭刪改，但整體一緻。錶麵上是青春愛情故事，講瞭兩個年輕人不同步的情感體驗；作者還希望探討如何真正認識一個人的本質，但小說把故事架構得過於美好，使得雖有衝突和矛盾，但整體理想化的情節展開，無法將這樣深刻的問題有力地傳達齣來，隻能通過說教加以強調。對於自己來說，更關注的是兩傢人對於生活的不同態度。Mr. Loski的問題在於，當已承認“that‘s not me anymore”以後，仍然自負地"just make accusations"，以緻於自己在生活麵前成為coward和sneak，正如他批評Bryce時一樣。很多時候，我們無權根據自己的態度去評判他人，沒有全麵瞭解便做齣公然的好惡判斷隻會顯得狂妄。

Flipped那一章寫的不是很可信，但是真正的結尾那兩頁寫的很動人。流暢、生動、自然，雖然隻是Teen's romance，但其實是真正意義上的成長故事。男生和女生的視角的tone掌握的很好，作者確實是把自己放在瞭人物的視角裏去展示人物的內心。故事本身其實簡單，難得的是幾次心理轉變都閤情閤理甚至引人思考。此時的我的心境真是非常適閤看這本書，所以看到後來Juli的復雜心理，看的真是異常共鳴。有理想化的處理，比如弱化瞭階級差異，而將之呈現為個體差異，但依然保留瞭痛感。每個人的感情成長確實是不同步的，你對此並無辦法，都是各自屬己的人生與成長。他是你的一堂課，你或許也是他的，但大傢可能學到的東西並不同，而你從他身上學到的，他或許要從彆人身上纔能學到。這是感情的不公平之處，卻是人生的公平之處。
