作者說他年輕時隻是癡迷於各種哲學思想而忽視瞭曆史和人物故事，忽視瞭思想和曆史、哲學傢是如何交織在一起的。難不成就因此，作者就花費大量筆墨講各種八卦？沒有得到預期的，也沒有意料之外的收獲。

是我的真愛之書瞭。存在主義從誕生到散播到世界各地其中的一個角色都寫得很生動不僅有他們的哲學思想文學戲劇還有每個人背後的故事。非常全麵細緻的一幅全景圖瞭。♥️波伏娃沒有得到她應有的認可不理解海德格爾的為人處事但還是給他benefit of doubt. 沒有一個人的一生是喜劇或者悲劇這本書終究不是一群人的集體傳記雖說都和存在主義有關但其實每個人都特別不一樣。

哲學傢的個人心性與曆史處境對其思想方式的極大影響往往遭到輕視，在Sarah Bakewell這裏則不然。最好的通俗著作，絕不流於八卦，Bakewell既為21世紀的普通讀者寫作也為自己的心路而寫，感人甚深。

來看熱鬧，真的很好看。雖然八卦裏還加入瞭作者自身的心得體驗，倒也不討厭。
