深入淺齣容易懂，適閤入門。內容隻局限在預測模型，因此，從機器學習要掌握的內容來說，內容廣度不夠。
评分如果是為瞭機器學習看的這本書，建議和ISL（Introduction to statistics learning）對照看，ISL教你思想，本書則偏重於方法。打好數學基礎後，就可以看ESL啦
评分和組織翻譯者有過一麵之緣，和她的論斷一緻，日常工作中，能掌握書中辦法就夠瞭。翻譯的也還可以。
评分本書的作者是R中最受歡迎的機器學習Package “caret” 的作者。這本書可當做是 “caret" 包的操作指南與技術手冊。
