Roald Dahl系列：父子各种奇思妙想捉野鸡的故事。When you grow up and have children of your own, do please remember something important: A stodgy parent is no fun at all. What a child wants and deserves is a parent who is SPARKY.
评分微微溫情的故事，但總體而言拖沓，沒多大出彩之處，在Dahl作品中算是比較沒個性的一本。

评分跟了不起的狐狸先生类似的劫富故事,但这篇的重点在于小男孩的塑造,虽然母亲从小去世但是父亲给他创造的成长环境温馨快乐有爱~爸爸给Danny讲好心眼巨人睡前故事时特别佩服作者,感觉凭空创造了一个好神奇的世界啊,每次去偷猎时我超级紧张哇.记得我爸爸以前也给我讲好听的睡前故事,但是后来不知道怎么一切都变了啊...
