在書店無意看到，因為封麵很奇異而買來。隻讀瞭第一篇，沒讀懂第13節。印象深刻的部分有“aura”的觀點、把畫傢和攝影師類比為magician和surgeon、最後的aestheticization of political life。

獨一性構造原創性。靈光在批量生産中消逝，藝術品欣賞價值被泛化，但人們依舊渴望接近原作，在盧浮宮的人山人海裏遠遠看一眼濛娜麗莎，說明對靈光的追求確實保存在人類性格裏。除瞭aura這個著名概念，還提到電影如何是一種虛假的賦權，是一種distraction：特寫和剪輯是一種無形的強權引導，充滿主觀性又僞裝客觀。和巴贊的《電影是什麼》一起讀很有意思，同樣在世界大戰導緻現代性危機的時代，巴贊從本體論的角度來說電影本質上比其他藝術更貼近客觀和現實主義，本雅明從更偏政治和社會的角度擔心電影有可能變成法西斯主義的幫凶。這本的封麵真是又貼切又可愛。
