Reading for confusion and having neglected all the technical details. Doing PhD research is a career training and keep in mind that academic is an occupation. So the essential question is, what is a PhD for? Simply meeting my curiosity at the cost of setting foot in this institutional profession area?

博士拿到了。不过书没读完。［属于过阵就拿来翻翻的那种。对英国体制下读phd较有参考价值。（我本科时咋没读到这书。。。不然就真的三思要不要读这个博士）］
