感到自己要看的东西还很多，Giddens的“detraditionalization”和Beck的“disembedment”，Bauman“强迫的和义务的自主”和“通过从众来创造自己的生活”都在诉说西欧个体从原先社会范畴脱离出来，通过各种机制和制度重塑自我，而中国的特别在于，个体从集体化脱嵌看似走向自由，却缺乏一套社会制度来支撑。最后两章消费主义和麦当劳的社会空间是我的甜点????

这本书可以算是目前中国学者研究个人化这个主题比较系统性的了；缺点是大部分基于农村青年的调查；对于广大城市八零后这一主体缺乏考察。
