感到自己要看的东西还很多，Giddens的“detraditionalization”和Beck的“disembedment”，Bauman“强迫的和义务的自主”和“通过从众来创造自己的生活”都在诉说西欧个体从原先社会范畴脱离出来，通过各种机制和制度重塑自我，而中国的特别在于，个体从集体化脱嵌看似走向自由，却缺乏一套社会制度来支撑。最后两章消费主义和麦当劳的社会空间是我的甜点????

自己以前真的是完全没看懂这本书，。中国社会走向个体化是一个国家推动、全球化还有个人的 agency 相互成就的结果；而“个体化”后的中国个体既有类似西方强调“自我”的一面，也有非常消费主义的一面；但是对 public life 的关注和他人权利的尊重都相对匮乏（我觉得社会制度也得负很大的责任啊）。

好书，思路一贯，很有启发，但用西欧作为比照其实有点儿关公战秦琼的意味。

有些分析讲出了自己这两年想到而写不出的话...不过是不是应该把译本拿来读读更有感觉？
