The British Studio Pottery movement of the twentieth century has been influential throughout the world and the Victoria and Albert Museum has the world's largest and finest collection with over 700 pieces dating from the beginnings of the movement to the 1980s. As well as being rich in masterpieces by such famous names as Bernard Leach, Hans Coper and Lucie Rie, the book contains significant and representative works by nearly 200 potters of note.
