I got a good kick out of reading the book last night before bed..they say that the faces of a city's inhabitants is the sociology by way of physiognomy. But I think a city is sum of its people..conduct and behavior..all those things melding together..

（一）问题 阅读巴黎城记首要的目的，是试图发现奥斯曼手术刀的秘密。奥斯曼建设和规划了伟大的巴黎城，在他主政的17年时间里，他使巴黎天翻地覆成为西方现代世界以来的第一名城。但把整本书翻下来，我们可以发现奥斯曼的规划路径就是现在中国大部分城市规划和建设的主流路径，...  

以为是本建筑与城市规划的书，就买下来看，结果是讲政治历史的，政治历史也可以很有趣，可是总有一种让我很不舒服东西时时在阻碍我获得阅读的快感，回头一看作者简历，哟，原来是马克思主义者哟，难怪整本书都是让我起鸡皮疙瘩的阶级斗争词汇。 不过我准备硬着头皮把它读下去。
