很實在的一本書，把作者的一些最“突齣”的work放到瞭一起，有很大的一部分講的是性與大英帝國的關係，penis envy什麼的，以前從沒在曆史paper裏接觸過這樣的想法，很有意思。中間的一段說宗教的我不清楚算不算誇大瞭一些宗教的作用，但是我實在無法criticize作者，我知道的太少瞭。
