這本書,作者用比較boring(聽人語)的感覺寫瞭我們熟悉的學校、學習的場景,曆史化地見證如何進行的學習規範的規訓。
评分簡讀,放到瞭自己的文獻綜述中。首先要緻敬一個外國學者研究中國教育的好奇心與熱情,對鄒平這個地方教育人情的觀察也很獨特,個人以為他的觀點其實還是教育文化學取嚮的,將傢長對教育的重視理解為一種現代化的文化模式,即傢長相信好的教育可以幫助子女獲得優質中産階層生活甚至是國外一流美好生活這種設想本質上是現代化的一種文化模型,在後發現代性國傢,國傢、市場、學校話語共同發揮作用塑造瞭這一文化,而在中國,傳統儒傢尊師重教的話語進一步加強瞭這種文化,至少這本書不再是國內很多研究將傢長視為罪魁禍首相關研究的重復,多重話語、力量的規訓倒是值得藉鑒。還在等待其他對中國重教的解釋
评分用governmentality從上而下分析教育製度,其實說不上哪裏不靠譜,很多規則可能因為熟悉而淡化。但用教育/名校學位和成功/happiness聯係起來並非東亞獨有。再則,這樣看下去學生們都是受體,完全受製度控製的(不然從做個人主義的也沒法寫東西瞭)。
