题材真是难以接受，结尾仓促而且讲不通，一个直男硬生生被父母给逼弯了。词语浅显易懂，虽说是青少年读物，但我觉得不适合青少年去读。

前面一百页主题大概是二代移民的身份认同，与父母姐姐哥哥同龄人的关系协调（which我都不感兴趣，很丧，主角都有点weird还有点自闭的既视感，句子很简单但是这么絮絮叨叨散漫我也没有觉得ari烦人，很难得了，但是我真的只想看点开心的甜文，120页左右忽然抓马的无厘头车祸我忍不下去了

He teaches creative writing at the University of Texas, El Paso.
