作者简介

Thomas C. Foster studied English at Dartmouth College and then Michigan State University. He has been a professor of literature and writing since 1975, the last twenty-one years at the University of Michigan–Flint. In that time, he's learned more about literature from his students than in all the classes he's taken over the years. 偶然在书店看到的，发现还不错就拿来读了。看完之后最大的感受是自己认识的单词和读过的书太少了。不过有差不多一半的人名和书名还是听说过的，因此感觉还不是太差。自己目前的水平还没法判断这书讲得靠不靠谱，不过的确给我提供了很多新的思路。这书作为高考语文辅导书也许不错？美国的确有高中把这本书作为“必读书目”之一的。继续努力吧
