引人入勝的西方文學閱讀入門指導

作為一本關於讀書的書，這本的可讀性簡直太強瞭。雖然用來舉例提到的不少書沒有讀過，但對於西方文學中各種符號symbol的解讀，既生動又幽默，作者對於通俗語言的掌握確實是教授水平，想必他的課也很有趣，真想去旁聽一學期啊！

戀有意思的一本書,適當地與所看的作品保持一定距離,來"專業地"分析一下也是不錯的,當然也不能忘瞭情感共鳴帶來的樂趣.作者淺入深齣地擴大瞭我們的眼界,提供瞭基本地新思路.當然看這本書得對西方文學有個基本瞭解,不然有些地方會有障礙.

作者說得很清楚，投入文學研究的學者，首先都是一群喜愛閱讀文學作品的人，因為喜愛，所以纔會想要去認真而熱情的去廣泛涉獵和細讀，充分發揮聯想和想象，解析西方文學作品或神話般的追尋或反諷的幽默，並且最重要的，為普通讀者能夠最完整地接觸到文學作品隱藏的樂趣和內涵而寫齣瞭這本書。閱讀過程中，隨處可以見到作者廣泛的閱讀量，睿智的解析，文筆優美但友好，不炫耀晦澀的術語。最後一章名為fare thee well,誠懇感謝瞭讀者堅持到瞭這次閱讀旅程的結束，提供瞭鼓勵，以及對於即將告彆的讀者們未來閱讀旅程的最好祝願，看得幾乎要飆淚，反觀國內大多數教材，沒有作者和讀者親切互動的口吻，反差強烈。小說詩歌絕不僅關乎情節或情感煽動。親切，幽默，乾貨多且實在，真誠，值得二刷的好書。
