实在是很抓人的主题，特别是在Charlie Hebdo出事之后，一切同伊斯兰相关的问题都显得格外敏感。读前本以为是像1984一样让人颤栗的政治寓言，实则描述的是一个知识分子如何像温水煮青蛙一般被同化的故事。除去开篇选举相关的章节外全篇并无高潮。可读，但作为一部小说，我期待它更好一点。
