老爺爺的書刷第二遍瞭，懷著無比崇敬的心情。我想我的新年願望就是把這書再刷幾遍，然後爭取看懂老爺爺的其他書

三星半。書名應該是The book of why data isn't everything. 因果關係定義或者說哲學基礎的缺乏使得所有討論顯得隻是在反駁數據的推崇者：沒有模型的統計不可能推導齣因果關係。一些技術的部分受限於科普的題材又講得不夠清楚，不如直接讀causality。

很不錯，很受啓發。其實語言限製思維這個簡單的事情也很有意思。說個身邊的例子，很多人說深圳要取代香港，卻不知道深圳何以成為深圳。當年鄧公畫瞭五個特區，隻有一個成功瞭。稍微動腦子問一下why就知道深圳成功的唯一原因就是香港。去年香港打瞭個噴嚏，深圳就半癱瘓瞭。這兩個不可分割的玩意，竟然有一方把另一方當作對手。。。
