斯拉活熱·齊澤剋（Slavoj Zizek），1949年3月21日生於斯洛文尼亞首府盧布爾雅那（Ljubljana），1971年獲文學學士學位，1975年獲文學碩士學位，1981年獲盧布爾雅斯博士學位，1985年獲得巴黎第八大學博士學位。

在學術上，齊澤剋善於應用通俗文化理論，以娓娓而談的方式，解釋雅剋·拉康晦澀、抽象的理論，同時又善於使用雅剋·拉康的理論來解釋政治現象和通俗文化問題。他勤於著述，成果豐碩，是拉康之後最成功、最多産的精神分析理論傢。

在政治上，他也非常活躍，他曾在1990年的第一次多黨選舉中，競選斯洛文尼亞共和國總統，也曾齣任過斯洛文尼亞共和國的科學大使。不平凡的政治經曆，將他磨煉成一個左翼思想傢。

齊澤剋現居德國埃森，任職於文化研究所。
