有声书共七个半小时，四十章，基本一人一章的节奏，从苏格拉底讲到彼得·辛格，可能都算不上蜻蜓点水，但至少可以有个大致的脉络（不过是很西方的脉络）。

回京的火车上读完。通畅显豁，将历史上最重要的哲学家们都作了简要但可靠的介绍，全然没有避重就轻的嫌疑，这一点很可贵。

受篇幅所限，每一篇都无法深入，虽然作为小史必然要浅显易懂有所取舍；以及海德格尔哭晕在厕所。。全书唯一一次提到他是说他为纳粹服务那段。。
