评分其实把这本书作为大英博物馆的参观指南或者路线图有些不合适，因为所选的很多文物的价值其实在于“背后”，当然按图索骥如果能回忆起这些背后的故事也是很有收获的。看完最大的感慨就是专家和普通人的最大区别就在于这些“背后”的知识。建议直接看英文版，文字很好，也不太难懂。
