范景中，1951年11月生于天津。1977年考入北京师范大学哲学系。1979年入浙江美术学院攻读艺术理论研究生，获硕士学位。先后任《美术译丛》和《新美术》主编、中国美术学院教授、博士生导师、图书馆馆长、出版社总编等职。

杨成凯，笔名林夕。1941年生，山东招远市人。1981年毕业于中国社会科学院语言系，获硕士学位。1981年起在中国社会科学院语言研究所从事研究工作，任至研究员。学术活动范围广泛，在语言学理论、汉语语法、文学艺术、目录版本、古籍整理等领域都有著述发表。尤为倾心中国古文献收藏和研究，现为国家文物鉴定委员会委员。主要著作有《汉语语法理论研究》，其他论著见有关专业刊物。
