This book is rigorous yet easy (or at least not too hard) to read! I would recommend it to anyone who likes logic.

Herbert B.Enderton 哈佛大学博士，师从著名哲学家Hilary Putnam。曾任教于加州大学伯克利分校。现为加州大学洛杉矶分校数学系兼职教授，该校“逻辑学论坛”主席，曾担任《符号逻辑学会评论》杂志的主编。除本书外，他还著有A Mathematical Introduction to Logic和Linear Algebra。

There is no end to what can be learned of set theory, but here is a beginning.

还在看,此书前面的部分Chapter 1-4,很容易,Chapter 5很烦琐(讲实数的构造,个人觉得有点无聊).后面部分Chapter6-9比较有难度,特别是从第7章的Replacement Axioms开始, 本来准备很快把这本书看完的,现在看来确实还需要花些时间认真读,认真做后面的练习(练习很有用).

我看的是英文版。这本书非常好，很适合自学。一开始我看的是"Naive Set Theory"(朴素集合论) by Paul R. Halmos, 如他所说，每个数学家都同意每个数学家应该懂一点集合论，问题是这“一点”是多少. Halmos自己的书我看了一下，太浅了，话题铺得比较开，一共100多页，不能展...
