虽然再版的时候作者自己也批判说自己欧洲中心，但不妨碍这本书各种具有启发性的判断。让我重新认识了我自己，也更明白为什么爱那片土地爱的深沉。

本月月头在往返布达佩斯以及往返汉堡的两趟旅程中读完的；着迷程度不减于第一次读中文版。还要再读一遍。今年到目前为止最喜欢的一本书。

有一颗星专门打给惊人的叙事能力，很难想象用两百二十页梳理出关于民族、民族性、民族国家起源发展复杂的过程，写得清晰明白，偶尔还耍点小俏皮。但是我觉得中国的情况无法套用这个模式来解释。
