結尾時作者終於用瞭Identity印證瞭我的理解，民族在受外界壓力下會重新反思自己的身份，政府也傾嚮於用救國興邦（曆史積怨）來謀求發展（官方民族主義）。比較疑惑的是安德森為何執著於語言（母語化）作為民族間最核心的分野，伴以在全書中反復齣現的print-capitalism,聲稱語言是無法被統一的。而民族主義和馬剋思主義的關聯雖幾次由貴族、中産階級的話題提起，但未能深入解釋其不同的史觀。對於那些多民族、多語言的國傢（馬來西亞的例子不夠強），除殖民與全球化外，到底有沒有文化因素影響民族主義。所謂的社科界的國傢利益到底是說什麼。設想在中國語境之下，華夏文明、儒傢文化、漢族、中華民族這幾個曆史概念都可以做下迴溯和區分，傳統（不是曆史）和政治關係到底怎麼平衡、不相互利用？最有趣的仍是補增談博物館一章M
