补标（读于2019年春夏）：这是很好的阿伦特思想的小册子，讨论的问题在她其他几本著作里重复出现，但这本散文集的文笔都不错。Truth and Politics, Crisis in Culture, What's Authority, What's Freedom应该是几篇引用得多的。阿伦特对于真理，权力，权威，自由，都有自己的解读，值得一读。以及需要注意的是Penguin还有出过一版BPF是six essays，是差不多的散文集。引用的时候要注意…

【藏书阁打卡】因为本书中文版没有条目，所以我打卡用了英文版一本讨论了很多有意义的东西的随笔集，处理传统中的现代断裂和现代期望用来代替传统形而上学概念的历史概念部分看得我头皮发麻，缺乏基本历史知识和政治常识不能看这种讨论。讨论何为权威、何为自由的部分，讨论对我来说变成了一种常识普及，非常惭愧不能参与作者的讨论，关于教育、文化、政治与真理的讨论比较贴近现实，很有启发。

阿伦特有着令人惊叹的贯穿能力，人类政治思想由此呈现为一个丰富的整体；她善于指出不同思想之间那些精妙而复杂的勾连，它们之间的承继、过渡、转折抑或颠覆，都纤毫毕现。比如，她把柏拉图和亚里士多德的教导当作西方政治哲学传统的开端，把马克思的理论定为这一传统的终结，一下子就把我们带进了一个整体的框架当中，开端和终结之间的关联是：前者厌弃政治，后者回归政治。这个集子中的文章虽说是写于不同时期，但整体性很强，所有阐释或多或少都向阿伦特政治思想的核心汇聚，这个核心是由人的“有死性”、“诞生性”和“复数性”构成的，她对行动、制作、劳动和公共领域的独特解释也是建于其上的。（读的是中文版）

HANNAH ARENDT was born in Hanover, Germany, in 1906, fled to Paris in 1933, and came to the United States after the outbreak of World War II. She was the editorial director of Schocken Books from 1946 to 1948. She taught at Berkeley, Princeton, the University of Chicago, and The New School for Social Research. Among her other books are The Human Condition, On Revolution, and The Life of the Mind. She died in 1975.
