两年前读过Kahneman写的"Thinking, fast and slow"，对本书中所提到的行为经济学理论并不陌生。然而这本书中的一句话，让我在读到的时候有一种触电的感觉："People don' make decisions based on numbers. They need a story"。这和《人类简史》作者Harari的Ted talk时听到的"The division in the current world is because of the failure of a popular story"竟然如此异曲同工。联想起身边的大事小事，莫不是如此。我们时常忽略数字，却对一个个故事痴迷不已。若是说对“故事”的迷恋是一种人性，那这本书便是给了我一把读懂它的钥匙。

前面太啰嗦，整整第一章都没进入正题，后来才渐入佳境。两位好朋友的关系真的很像一对couple啊，从相遇“热恋”到“离婚”。最后最后的结尾写得很好，听哭了。不过结合今天刚在微博看到AER文章“Does Science Advance One Funeral at a Time?”，巨星陨落会导致更多人站起来。俩人时代的终结也带来整个学界的改变，心理学经由经济学开始走向更多学科也开始看到policy application。
