好喜歡這本，audiobook performed也非常好，比之前兩本短篇都更喜歡。中間聽得非常悲傷，覺得裏麵透露的對生活和愛情都很失望的感覺，還有二代移民的迷茫，從對父母到對自己都有深深的shameful又虛榮卻無力的感覺，最後的結尾也很好，一些和解，也意識到人們比想象中都更堅韌。

一直沒感覺到中國移民適應問題的我，居然被這本書中印度第一代移民的各種不適和他們收到的文化衝擊打動瞭。當然，還是沒心沒肺沒問題的好

很細膩的描寫，我不希望自己成為Ashima一樣的異鄉人，但是，我已經深深地感到瞭文化的不兼容性。
