我：讀過一本寫作書讀完發現完全講的是寫作習慣和寫作的精神狀態，沒什麼用... 寫作老師：我知道有一本還在學校書店裏被推薦，講的是很模糊的東西，對，也有寫作習慣什麼的，沒什麼實質的指導，less useful。我：是叫Sense of Style??? 寫作老師：對對對！原來你吐槽的也是這本啊！

由語言學傢和認知心理學傢寫的（英文）style guide，感覺比較適閤理性派思維的人閱讀。並不是無端列舉一大堆寫作規則和建議，而是有組織地講解行文、段落和句子的結構，最重要的是所有分析都有從語言、邏輯、心理學等方麵的道理可循。特彆是書前半部分感覺可以抽空再仔細讀一下做一些筆記，後麵部分關於一些具體用詞、標點之類的就有點瑣碎瞭。原本是為瞭改善自己的 academic writing skill 來讀的，自己覺得收獲不少，但是真正 improve 還是得需要多多練習寫作吧。
