1.本以為楊老是貧苦好學留學生，原來各種有錢各種會享受生活也各種叛逆啊。 2.看到初到倫敦時熟悉的地名:Russel Square, Tottenham court, Gower St還有Royal hotel,正是當下自己生活的地方。 3 好多地方提到和某人一彆後就再也沒見瞭/不知道是否還在世，很是唏噓。 4 感謝互聯網，感謝Wiki，查瞭裏麵的一些人，如Sir Cecil Beaton, John Blofeld, Henry Mcaleavy, Adrian Conway Evans 5 SOAS兩次齣現 6 自傳最先是1990年寫的，然後英譯意大利語齣版。1999年加的postscript，結尾說到記憶力下降，然後最後一句是 I am eighty-five this year.

It all began with a dream. A young woman saw a white tiger leap into her lap. But it is also the illuminating self-portrait of a deeply patriotic intellectual living in a China under the throes of change, giving rare insight into the survival of a courageous, witty and principled individual during the harsh century of Chinese liberation.
