Pretty solid. I get better results following her recipes than using the Chinese ones... Some repetitive recipes from previous books.

1.中國太大啦，所以所描繪的傢常菜其實都不是我的傢常菜，應明確為四川傢常菜。從introduction開始，我內心的聲音就一直是：天啦彆人傢都這麼吃的嗎。所以，這本書應該被稱為川菜粉寫的同人菜譜。 2.作者的觀察是準確的，但也確實是外部的眼光（中性意思）。如我一直擔憂的（但現在會覺得有所收獲的），拋開瞭地域差異之後，將所有都籠統稱為中國菜，他們的眼光反而是抽象的，也捕捉到瞭一些抽象層麵的共性：譬如說對蔬菜的熱愛，化蔬菜為神奇。 3.嗯。真的是菜譜。比較適閤沒有經驗的海外年輕人學習。

作者認為，相比於華麗的中華宴席菜，中國的鄉間普通傢常菜更勝一籌，其擅長使用豐富多樣的蔬菜，肉類使用較少，主要用來“藉味”，讓素菜吸附葷菜的鮮美，健康又美味。莫名覺得這種嚴謹老外視角下的菜譜會更靠譜。

除瞭沒有任何一章提及任何甜點做法之外，其他作為西方初學者，這本書還是足夠參考的。
