翻译课恰好做他The Hermeneutic Motion节选的presentation，短短五页内容紧实又有条理，读了我好久却又不得不服，于是把整本书借来看（75首版的，据说重发第二本时他删改了很多，还加进去了些新的内容，比如Derrida，第三版最当下）。作者本人在英法德三语家庭中长大（也是赢在了起跑线上），可以说是个Kabbalist，书里的援引无所不有又天衣无缝，现在还在震撼的余波中。有些人很烦他爱用"big words"，但觉得其实用得并不卖弄，真的只是最便捷实际的概念打包方式。

评分YO:莎士比亚戏剧没什么完整性，每次搬上舞台都是删减版。他活在今天就是写台词的.语言与智商并没有多大联系，乔姆斯基只懂英语，有的餐厅领班能熟练游走于十几种语言之间。最后，和只插竹叶的卖花姑娘一样，精通数国语言的大师认为，真正的理解只有在静默中才能达到。狐狸不是对小王子说过，语言是误解的根源?
评分施泰纳长期处于欧美学界的边缘，好作惊人之语，终于自成一家。那些平实之论，反而被淹没了。
